Your typical nanny position is Monday through Friday. Full-time work is considered 35 to 60 hours a week. Part-time work is considered under 35 hours per week.

NEWBORN CARE/ INFANT SPECALIST

Hired by a family to give complete care to a newborn, a Newborn Care or Infant Specialist typically works 12-hour shifts or 24/7.

  • A minimum of two weeks of paid vacation

  • At least five paid sick and/or personal days

  • Guaranteed pay for all scheduled hours when the nanny is available to work, even if care is not needed

  • A comprehensive nanny/family work agreement clearly outlining compensation, responsibilities, expectations, and benefits

 FAQs

  • NO, we never charge a fee to the nanny! And as a nanny you should never be charged a fee! If an agency tries to charge you a fee or take a percentage of your earnings, we highly recommend that you refrain from working with them

  • We look for positive, responsive people who are easy to work with and love what they do!

    Additionally, we look to see if nannies meet the following agency requirements:

    • Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

    • Candidates should have a valid US driver’s license and have a clean driving record

    •  21+ years of age

    • Minimum of a high-school diploma

    • Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check

    • Legally authorized to work in the US

    • Have a relevant job history with outstanding references

    • Be CPR/First Aid certified OR willing to become CPR/First Aid certified upon hire

    All of the nannies we work with must meet these requirements!

  • To start the application process, you'll first have to fill out our Nanny Inquiry Form, which can be found HERE.

    Once you fill out this form, you will be emailed a link to our Nanny Application Form. This form will:

    • Ask you a few basic questions about yourself

    • Ask you a few questions about the type of position you are seeking

    • Ask you for information about 2-3 professional childcare references

    • Ask you to upload your childcare resume, upload proof of CPR/First Aid Certification, and upload any reference letters you may have on hand

    • Ask you to read and agree to our Nanny Agreement

    • Ask you to give consent for INA to run a Background Check

    Once this form is completed and if your application is approved, you will be asked to schedule a video interview with a member of the INA Team. Please note that this video interview should be conducted at home/in a professional setting at a desk.
