Part-Time Family Assistant, New Canaan CT j-511
Part-time live-out family assistant needed for a professional family in New Canaan CT with 2 children, ages 10 years and 12 years old
Location: New Canaan, CT
Compensation: $35 per hour
Schedule: Fridays, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:
Getting children ready for school in the morning, including making breakfast and packing their lunches
Driving the children to and from school. Family will provide a job for on-the-job use
Cooking and meal prep for the children, meal prep for whole family on occasion
Laundry for the children and parents
Miscellaneous errands, including grocery shopping
Light housekeeping, including keeping common spaces tidy and ironing when needed
Miscellaneous home organization tasks
Maintaining routines for the children, helping to maintain a smooth household rhythm
Walk and play with the family dog (family has 1 small dog under 25lbs)
Flexibility for occasional evenings and overnights is preferred but not required
Must-haves:
Comfortable with dogs (family has 1 small dog)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
CPR/First Aid certified
Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
Agency Requirements:
Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role
Willing to be paid via payroll
Candidates should have a valid US driver’s license and have a clean driving record
21+ years of age
Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified/renew certification upon hire
Minimum of a high-school diploma
Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check
Legally authorized to work in the US
Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
