Part-time nanny/family assistant needed for a busy professional family in Easton, CT with 4 children, ages 6 years, 4 years, 2 years, and 9 months.
Location: Easton, CT
Compensation: $35-$37 per hour, paid via payroll
Schedule: Approximately 31–32+ hours per week
Monday: Alternating monthly schedule
Sept., Nov., Jan., etc.: 1:00pm–8:30/9:00pm
Oct., Dec., Feb. etc.: 9:00am–5:30pm
Tuesday: 11:30am–6:00pm
Wednesday: 1:00pm–6:00pm (family is open to an 11:30am Wednesday start if nanny prefers)
Thursday: 11:30am –6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am–4:00pm

Responsibilities:
Supervise children in the pool. Strong swimmer required.
Provide attentive, engaging, and age-appropriate care for the children
Maintain consistent routines and appropriate boundaries
Plan activities that keep the children engaged and minimize screen time
Encourage the children to participate in age-appropriate cleanup and household responsibilities
Keep children's bedrooms, play areas, and other spaces tidy and organized
Wash, fold, put away, and maintain the children's laundry
Prepare and clean up after children's meals and snacks
Wash bottles, dishes, and other items used throughout the day
Help keep toys and common areas organized
Take initiative with child- and household-related tasks during downtime
Travel with the family approximately 4–5 times per year
Help maintain a calm, organized household while being flexible and able to go with the flow
Pets: Two large dogs and one cat.
Pet Care Requirements: Nanny must be comfortable opening the door for the dogs to let them outside. The family has an invisible fence, so no dog walking is required.
Must-haves:
Experience caring for multiple children, including infants and toddlers
Comfortable confidently setting boundaries with children, including limiting screen time
Proactive and able to identify what needs to be done without constant direction
Flexible, adaptable, and willing to go with the flow in a busy household
Comfortable traveling with the family approximately 4–5 times per year
Comfortable with two large dogs and one cat
Highly reliable and punctual
Excellent communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
CPR/First Aid certified
Agency Requirements:
Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role
Willing to be paid via payroll
Candidates should have a valid US driver’s license and have a clean driving record
21+ years of age
Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified/renew certification upon hire
Minimum of a high-school diploma
Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check
Legally authorized to work in the US
Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
