Part-Time Nanny, Darien, CT

Part-time nanny needed for a family in Darien, CT with 3 children, ages 5 years, 8 years, and 10 years old.

Location: Darien, CT

Pay: $30-35 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday, 1pm - 6pm

Start date: August 18, 2025 (but flexible)

Responsibilities include:

• Childcare support for three children including afternoon routines, play, and enrichment

• Swim supervision for the children

• Driving the children to and from activities (family will provide car for use)

• Helping the children to stay focused on schoolwork

• Engaging the children in outdoor activities

• Meal prep and cooking for the children

• Light housekeeping including laundry for the family

• Running errands

• Helping to manage household appointments

• Feeding the family cat, cleaning the litterbox

Must-Haves:

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, especially experience caring for 3 children at a time

• Strong swimmer

• Comfortable with cats

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• CPR/First Aid certified

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Agency Requirements:

• Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

• Candidates should have a valid CT driver’s license and have a clean driving record

•  18+ years of age

• Minimum of a high-school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
