Part-Time Nanny, Darien, CT

Part-time nanny needed for a family in Darien, CT with 3 children, ages 6 years, 8 years, and 10 years old.

Location: Darien, CT

Pay: $30-35 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday, 1pm - 7pm

• Family is unsure of their Friday schedule, but will possibly be 1pm-7pm as well

Start date: July 30, 2025

Responsibilities include:

• Childcare support for three children including afternoon routines, play, and enrichment

• Driving the children to and from activities (family will provide car for use)

• Meal prep and cooking for the children

• Light housekeeping including children’s laundry and keeping children’s spaces picked up

• Running errands, including grocery shopping

Must-Haves:

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, especially experience caring for 3 children at a time

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• CPR/First Aid certified

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

• Comfortable with dogs (family is planning to get a dog in the near future)

Agency Requirements:

• Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

• Candidates should have a valid CT driver’s license and have a clean driving record

•  18+ years of age

• Minimum of a high-school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
