Part-Time After-School Nanny/Household Manager, Weston CT

Part-time after-school nanny/ household manager needed for a family in Weston, CT with 2 children, ages 6 years and 10 years old.

Location: Weston, CT

Pay: $25-35 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 8:00pm

Start date: May 15, 2025

Benefits:

Responsibilities include:

Preparing healthy, diverse, palette-expanding meals for the children (great cook appreciated!)
Cooking for the family
Swim supervision (family has a pool)
Driving safely (vehicle will be provided)
Doing laundry for the family
Helping to run errands, including grocery shopping
Managing appointments for the household
Basic oversight for the family dog and care while the parents are away (family is planning to get a dog in the next 3-9 months)
Organizing and cleaning kids spaces when there is down time
Supervising homework for the children
Ensuring children’s backpacks, sports uniforms, etc are put together

Must-Haves:

Someone who can act as a partner to the parents while they work in the city
Someone to take ownership of meal planning and shopping for the children
Clear, open, and communicative with parents
Able to integrate the children into the needs of the house and encourage them to put away clean laundry, clean up their spaces, etc.
Comfortable with dogs
Safe driver
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
Maturity and ability to use own judgement to solve problems
Open and communicative with parents

Preferences:

Agency Requirements:

Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role
Candidates should have a valid CT driver’s license and have a clean driving record
18+ years of age
Minimum of a high-school diploma
Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check
Legally authorized to work in the US
Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
