TEMP Part-Time Live-Out Nanny, North Salem, NY

Temporary part-time live-out nanny needed for a professional family in North Salem NY with 2 children, ages 2 years old and 4 months old (eldest is in daycare until 5:30pm, care is primarily for the infant)

Location: North Salem, NY

Pay: $30-35 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 6:00pm (could be 1:00pm - 6:00pm if nanny desires additional hours)

Start date: ASAP

End Date: July 2026

Responsibilities include:

• Primarily responsible for the care of the 4 month old (including diapering, feeding, nap time, maintaining the child’s schedule, developmentally appropriate activities, etc)

• Cleaning up after the baby

• Laundry for the children

Must-Haves:

• Comfortable with pets (family has 1 medium dog and 2 cats. All very friendly, but can be put away if needed. No pet care required)

• Recent infant experience

• CPR/First Aid certified

• Safe driver

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role

• Very organized personality

• Maturity and ability to use own judgement to solve problems

• Open and communicative with parents

Agency Requirements:

• Candidate must be willing to be paid legally through a payroll system “on the books”

• Candidates should have a valid CT driver’s license and have a clean driving record

•  21+ years of age

• Minimum of a high-school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
