Full-Time Live-Out Nanny, New Canaan CT j-20230

Full-time live-out nanny needed for a professional family in New Canaan CT with 2 children, ages 3 years old and 5 years old

Location: New Canaan CT

Pay: $30-33 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4pm (34 hours per week)

Start date: April 27 2026

Responsibilities include:

• Driving the children to and from school and activities (nanny must be willing to use her own vehicle, family will reimburse for gas and mileage)

• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children

• Laundry for the whole family

• Running errands for the family, including grocery shopping

• Light housekeeping/cleaning up after the children

• Engaging the children in enriching activities

Must-Haves:

• Comfortable with pets (family has 1 dog, a small Corgi. No pet care required)

• CPR/First Aid certified

• Safe driver

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role

• Very organized personality

• Maturity and ability to use own judgement to solve problems

• Open and communicative with parents

Agency Requirements:

• Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

• Candidate must be willing to be paid legally through a payroll system “on the books”

• Candidates should have a valid CT driver’s license and have a clean driving record

•  21+ years of age

• Minimum of a high-school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
