Part-Time Nanny, New Canaan, CT

Part-time nanny needed for a professional family in New Canaan CT with 1 child, 2.5 years old

Location: New Canaan, CT

Pay: $30 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1pm - 5pm

Start date: November 1, 2025

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining afternoon routines for the child

• Safely transporting child to appointments and activities (vehicle provided)

• Preparing meals for the children

• Running errands for the family, including grocery shopping

• Helping to manage appointments for the household

• Light housekeeping (children’s dishes, keeping play spaces picked up, etc)

Must-Haves:

• CPR/First Aid certified

• Safe driver

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role

• Maturity and ability to use own judgement to solve problems

• Open and communicative with parents

Agency Requirements:

• Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

• Candidate must be willing to be paid legally through a payroll system “on the books”

• Candidates should have a valid CT driver’s license and have a clean driving record

•  21+ years of age

• Minimum of a high-school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
