Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant, Westport, CT

Part-time nanny/family assistant needed for a professional family in Westport, CT with 2 children, ages 12 years and 9 years old.

Location: Westport, CT

Pay: $28 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday, 12pm - 6pm

• OPTIONAL Friday, 12pm - 6pm

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining routines for the children

• Safely transporting children to and from school, appointments, and activities (vehicle provided)

• Helping to ensure children have all the materials they need for any after-school activities

• Preparing meals for the family

• Laundry for the family

• Running errands for the family, including grocery shopping

• Light housekeeping (keeping kitchen tidy, children’s spaces tidy, etc)

Must-Haves:

• CPR/First Aid certified

• Safe driver

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role

• Maturity and ability to use own judgement to solve problems

• Open and communicative with parents

• Comfortable with dogs (family has an 18 lb hypoallergenic Cavapoo, no pet care required)

Agency Requirements:

• Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

• Candidate must be willing to be paid legally through a payroll system “on the books”

• Candidates should have a valid CT driver’s license and have a clean driving record

•  21+ years of age

• Minimum of a high-school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
