PT Nanny, New Canaan CT

Part-time afternoon nanny needed for a family in New Canaan, CT with 3 children, ages 8 years, 6 years, and 2.5 years old.

Location: New Canaan, CT

Pay: $32-35 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 7:00pm

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing healthy meals for the children that are mindful of their special dietary needs

• Swim supervision (family has a pool)

• Driving safely (vehicle will be provided for use)

• Caring for all three children (care will be primarily for the 2.5 year old)

• Working alongside the parents to ensure all three children are transported to afternoon activities in a safe and timely manner

• Facilitating and helping with homework for the older children

• Facilitating afternoon routines for the children, including music practice and reading

Must-Haves:

• Clear, open, and communicative with parents

• Safe driver

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role

• Maturity and ability to use own judgement to solve problems

• Open and communicative with parents

Agency Requirements:

• Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

• Candidates should have a valid CT driver’s license and have a clean driving record

• 18+ years of age

• Minimum of a high-school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
