Part-Time Nanny, Ridgefield, CT

Part-time nanny needed for a family in Ridgefield, CT with 1 child, 1 month old (born July 4, 2025)

Location: Ridgefield, CT

Pay: $30 per hour

Schedule:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am - 1pm from mid-August through the end of October

• Full day care needed on September 13th (parents will be attending a wedding nearby)

Start date: August 19, 2025

Responsibilities include:

• Childcare support for one child including routines, play, and enrichment

• Changing diapers

• Preparing bottles, feeding, sanitizing bottles

• Putting child down for naps

• Helping with laundry for the family

• Helping to keep the home tidy and organized

Must-Haves:

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred

• Recent experience working with newborns

• Comfortable with dogs (family has 1 trained service dog, the dog will go to work with the mother)

• Somebody organized, trustworthy, and dependable

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• CPR/First Aid certified

• COVID and Tdap vaccinated

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Agency Requirements:

• Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

• Candidates should have a valid CT driver’s license and have a clean driving record

•  18+ years of age

• Minimum of a high-school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
