Full-Time Live-Out Nanny, Darien CT
Full-time live-out nanny needed for a professional family in Darien CT with 1 child, age 2.5 years old. Second child is due end of December 2026
Location: Darien, CT
Compensation: $32 per hour
Schedule:
Monday - Wednesday, 7:30am - 6:15pm
Thursday & Friday, 9am - 4pm
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:
Driving the child to and from activities (child is in a 2’s program). Family will provide a job for on-the-job use
Preparing meals for the child (preparing meals for the parents as well is appreciated but not required!)
Laundry for the parents and child
Run occasional errands for the family
Light child-related housekeeping, including tidying play spaces, cleaning up the kitchen after cooking meals for the child, folding laundry for the parents, etc (as time allows)
Engage the child in entertaining and developmentally appropriate activities
Once the baby comes, supporting the mom with any baby-related care needs
Maintain routines for the child, helping to maintain a smooth household rhythm
Must-haves:
Comfortable with dogs (family has a 20lb dog). No pet care required
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
CPR/First Aid certified
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Agency Requirements:
Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role
Willing to be paid via payroll
Candidates should have a valid US driver’s license and have a clean driving record
21+ years of age
Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified/renew certification upon hire
Minimum of a high-school diploma
Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check
Legally authorized to work in the US
Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
