Part-time live-out nanny needed for a professional family in Bethel CT with 1 child, age 1 year old.

Location: Bethel, CT

Compensation: $28-30 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Driving the child to and from activities. Family will provide a job for on-the-job use

  • Preparing meals for the child

  • Laundry for the child

  • Light child-related housekeeping, including tidying play spaces, cleaning up the kitchen after cooking meals for the child, etc

  • Engage the child in entertaining and developmentally appropriate activities

  • Maintain routines for the child, helping to maintain a smooth household rhythm

Must-haves:

  • Comfortable with dogs (family has 3 dogs, 2 medium dogs and 1 small dog). No pet care required

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • CPR/First Aid certified 

  • Excellent communication and attention to detail

Agency Requirements:

  • Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

  • Willing to be paid via payroll

  • Candidates should have a valid US driver’s license and have a clean driving record

  • 21+ years of age

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified/renew certification upon hire

  • Minimum of a high-school diploma

  • Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check

  • Legally authorized to work in the US

  • Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
