Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant, Greenwich/Darien/Westport CT j-20067

Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant needed in Greenwich/Darien/Westport, CT for three children, ages 10 months old, 2.5 years old, and 4 years old

Location: Greenwich, Darien, and/or Westport, CT (family is in transition - nanny must be flexible to work in any of these towns)

Compensation: $30-38 per hour, paid via payroll

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11am - 8pm (core hours are 12pm-7pm, flexibility for 11am-7pm or 12pm-8pm on occasion is preferred)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities:

• Provide childcare for all three children at the family home

• Facilitate exercise/active play for the children, engage the children in enriching activities

• Maintain the children’s nap schedules

• Comfortable disciplining the children in accordance with the family’s established parenting style

• Knowledge of developmental milestone for children ages 1-7 years old, confidence in ability to help children achieve those milestones

• Prepare and serve dinner to the children, prepare dinner for the parents

• Clean/reset kitchen, dining room, and any play spaces/child spaces

• Laundry for the whole family (preferred, but not required)

• Light housekeeping

• Errands for the family (preferred, but not required)

• Meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking for the family (preferred, but not required)

• Maintain organization of and restock household essentials, including changing areas

• Proactively support the household’s daily rhythm and anticipate needs

Must-Haves:

• Flexible working in either Greenwich, Darien, or Westport (family is currently in the process of moving)

• Comfortable being paid via payroll

• Comfortable working alongside other household employees

• Strong organizational instincts and attention to detail

• Warmth paired with polished professionalism

• Reliability and punctuality

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a similar role

• Maturity and the ability to use good judgment to solve problems

• Open, clear, and consistent communication with parents

Agency Requirements:

• Intent to make a long-term commitment

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record

• 21+ years of age

• Minimum of a high school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media screening

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Relevant job history with outstanding references
