Part-Time Evening Household Manager, Darien CT j-20857
This playful, musical, and bustling family in Darien CT is seeking a warm, engaging, and reliable household manager to provide excellent care for their three active children, ages 11 months old, 2.5 years old, and 4 years old (working in conjunction with another nanny)
Location: Darien CT (Family is primarily located in Darien ~10 min walk from train station, but may eventually move to Old Greenwich. Occasional visits to family in Westport)
Compensation: $35-40 per hour, paid via payroll
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm
Start Date: As soon as they find the right fit

Responsibilities:
Provide loving, attentive care for one or two toddlers, creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment through play, reading, outdoor activities, and daily routines.
Help manage the children’s daily schedule, including meals, naps, diapering/potty, routines, and age-appropriate developmental activities
Keep our home running smoothly by helping maintain tidy play areas, children’s bedrooms, the kitchen, and common spaces throughout the day
Cook meals for the kids on occasion
Assist with light household organization, including children’s laundry, unloading/loading the dishwasher, tidying toys, organizing supplies, and helping everything stay in its place
Partner with our family to create a calm, organized, and welcoming home where the children can thrive and parents can focus on work and family time
Play with children outside, support learning through fun (arts & crafts, reading books, etc)
Must-Haves:
Warm, extroverted, capable
Hands-on with kids
Value daily time outdoors, play, silliness, music. Prefer shared activities so siblings can deeply bond
Able to set boundaries, teach rules and manners for the kids
On time arrival (punctuality), organized
Comfortable being paid via payroll
Comfortable working alongside other household employees
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate child developmental milestones for 1-6 years of age
First Aid/CPR certified

Another nanny/household assistant to help with flexible child schedules and meals

Agency Requirements:
Intent to make a long-term commitment
Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
21+ years of age
Minimum of a high school diploma
Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media screening
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
