The Impeccable Nanny Agency’s FAQ (For Families)
What is the hourly rate I should expect to pay a nanny in Connecticut or Westchester County, NY?
Most nannies are asking for around $30-$35/hour, depending on their experience. When speaking with a nanny about their hourly rate, they are generally speaking about the take-home rate.
Most Nanny/Family Assistants are looking for somewhere around $35-$40/hour.
Most Newborn Care Specialists are looking for $35-50. Oftentimes overnight shifts are priced slightly higher than daytime shifts. If a newborn care specialist is working a 24 hour shift, expect to pay her for all hours she is in your home, including those when your baby is sleeping, as your NCS is on call during those hours.
What are your fees?
Our Fees are as follows:
Each full-time search begins with a $500 search deposit. Each part-time search begins with a $1,000 search deposit. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to the final placement fee due to The Impeccable Nanny Agency.
Part-Time Placement Fees:
22% of the Nanny, Nanny/Family Assistant, Live-In Nanny, Housekeeper's gross first-year of pay.
Full-Time Placement Fees:
15% of the Nanny, Nanny/Family Assistant, Live-In Nanny, Housekeeper's gross first-year of pay.
Short Term Placements
22% of the Nanny, Nanny/Family Assistant, Live-In Nanny, Housekeeper, Newborn Care Specialist's gross monthly pay. The placement fee is due in full (for the entire duration of the placement) before the Nanny, Nanny/Family Assistant, Housekeeper, Newborn Care Specialist's first day of work, minus the deposit previously paid. There is a minimum placement fee of $500 per month.
What is your replacement policy?
For Full-Time Placements:
If the initial Candidate leaves the Client's employment, a prorated credit will be provided to the Client to start a new search based on the number of days the Candidate worked for the Client. Credit replacement
0-90 days- 100% credit
91-150 days- 75% credit
151-180 days- 50% credit
181-210 days- 25% credit
The Impeccable Nanny Agency will make reasonable efforts for 30 days to provide up to three additional referrals for a maximum of one replacement Candidate to the Client.
For Part-Time Placements:
If the initial Candidate leaves the Client’s employment within the 30 day replacement policy time limit, The Impeccable Nanny Agency will make reasonable efforts for 30 days to provide up to three additional referrals for a maximum of one replacement Candidate to the Client.
For Short-Term Placements:
If the initial candidate leaves the Client’s employment, The Impeccable Nanny Agency will perform one additional Nanny search to the best of our ability for the purpose of replacing the initial candidate within the remaining time of the short-term employment agreement. The Impeccable Nanny Agency will make reasonable efforts for 30 days to provide up to three additional referrals for a maximum of one replacement Candidate to the Client.

How do you screen your care providers and nannies?
We carefully screen our applicants to ensure the safety of your children. You can view the details of our Screening Process HERE
Do you provide date night and occasional sitter services?
We provide local sitter services at a residence, hotel, or Airbnb.
We have a 4-hour minimum on all sitter placements.
All of our sitters have at least 3 years of professional experience. We have sitters who are experienced in childcare, as well as sitters who have specific experience caring for infants.
Each sitter has provided us with sitting or nannying references, and we diligently check each of these references to ensure they are positive.
Our sitters are CPR/First Aid certified, have a clean driving record, and are background checked.
Our Sitter Services Fees are as follows:
INA offers Single Sit Pricing or Package Pricing
Single Sit Pricing: Booking fee (to be paid to INA) of $40 per calendar day a sitter is needed
Overnight Pricing: $125 per overnight that a sitter is needed
Sitter Service Package Pricing:
The Essential: 2 booking, $45.00 booking fee
The Signature: 5 bookings, $75.00 booking fee
The Complete: 10 bookings, $145.00 booking fee
Please note: This is a recurring monthly membership. Bookings do not roll over from month to month. Each membership cycle is 30 days from the date of enrollment. There is no long-term commitment—you may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
(The booking fee is the fee due to INA. The sitter will also charge their hourly rate for the sit. The hourly rate for sitting is paid directly to the sitter via cash, Venmo, Apple Pay or Zelle at the end of each shift.)
Do you provide overnight care services for families?
Yes, we provide services any time of day from an overnight to a vacation. Overtime and double-time rates do apply. We can split a weekend or overnight shift between two childcare professionals to minimize overtime fees. If you are hiring a long-term nanny and anticipate needing regular overnight care, be sure that this is well-defined in your agreement and that you ask your nanny about her overnight availability well in advance.
