Meet Jane Thielen
Owner/Director of Placement
The Impeccable Nanny Agency was founded by Jane Thielen in 2020 as a boutique Nanny and Newborn Care Placement Agency that carefully matches qualified, dedicated care providers with families in New York City and the Tri-State area. We take the guesswork out of hiring professional in-home childcare! Jane has been in the childcare industry for many years. She started out as a Nanny, which was followed by placing au pairs with host families in the United States. Now, as a mother and professional, Jane recruits professional candidates from across the East Coast.
Over the years, she has enjoyed working with families from diverse cultures, which has allowed her to gain a deep understanding of the varied needs of families and the ability to satisfy those needs with the perfect candidate. As a mother, Jane also understands the stresses and challenges of raising and caring for children, and she is able to bring that understanding to the placement process.

Meet Elaina
Senior Recruiter/Nanny Coordinator
Elaina is originally from Roxbury, CT. She babysat throughout high school for neighbors and friends in Connecticut and quickly learned that she loved working with children. Elaina continued to babysit throughout college as she earned her bachelor’s degree in Ballet and in International Studies from Indiana University. She also spent her summers home from college working as a summer nanny for families in Connecticut.
Elaina first connected with Jane and The Impeccable Nanny Agency while searching for a summer nanny position in 2022. Jane not only helped her to find a fantastic nanny job but also took her on as a recruiter for the agency. Upon graduating college, Elaina moved to Charlotte, NC to work as a professional ballet dancer with Charlotte Ballet in their second company. Meanwhile, she continues to work as a recruiter for The Impeccable Nanny Agency. As a current nanny and babysitter herself, Elaina understands the nuances of the childcare industry and the challenges that both nannies and families face trying to find the right fit. She loves connecting with childcare professionals and working to find the perfect nanny to meet each family’s individual needs.
